Education
2008 Symposium
The International Kidney Stone Institute will host the 2008 International Urolithiasis Research Symposium on April 17th and 18th, 2008, where physicians and researchers present and discuss the latest basic science and clinical findings in stone disease, the urologic treatment and medical management. 2008 Stone Conference
Online atlas
A Web-based reference and resource of images and clinical scenarios from representative stone patients is now in development and will enable researchers and physicians worldwide to explore diagnoses, clinical decision-making, treatment options and outcomes.
Fellowships
A two-year fellowship in stone disease and minimally invasive urology has been offered since 1990 by Methodist Hospital in affiliation with the Indiana University School of Medicine. The fellowship provides urologists who have completed their residency with an extensive clinical and basic science experience in all aspects of kidney stone disease.
